Injection-molded structural foam pallets represent a major advance in durable, lightweight, reusable packaging.
To produce structural foam pallets, melted polyethylene or polypropylene resin is injected into a mold. The “outer” portion of the melt forms a hard skin where it contacts the cold surface of the metal mold. The inner core remains molten, and an inert gas foaming agent is blown through it. This forms a strong but lightweight cellular core.
Robinson Industries offers a variety of standard structural foam pallets in sizes ranging from 32" by 36" up to 48" by 60". All are available with lids and most have seat belt options.
